The Weekly Jazz Workshop is a class held every Tuesday evening at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma Washington.

Students are rehearsed and instructed by some of the finest Jazz musicians in the Northwest as well as visiting artists from around the world. Students learn basic song forms like blues and rhythm changes as well as standard songs of the Jazz idiom. The main focus of the workshop is to help students develop skills to become better improvisers and musicians. Each month the students also have the opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians at local venues. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate
